my experience with surveys for cash from YouGov

YouGov are a well known company that conducts polls and surveys about politics, brands, public affairs, and other topics of general interest for product development, advertising, or just general wants or needs.

YouGov is not a scam, their website is secure and there is no need to worry about giving any of your personal details on there. Once you become a member, you will begin receiving invitations for surveys. These surveys are completely confidential, For every survey you complete, you will earn points, it could take up to 28 days to get payment,. They always pay out and they are good at answering any questions or queries from members.

There is a very comprehensive frequently asked questions section where you can find out the answer to most popular queries. You can even write a letter in response to a survey you have received or relating to results of a survey.

How do I know when there is a survey for me to complete ?

When there is a survey waiting for you to complete YouGov will send an email to the address you registered your account with to let you know.

When you receive your email you just need to click on the link provided which will take you to the log in page where you just enter your username and password and this will take you through to the survey.

What are the surveys like ?

They range from views on brand names to your political views, you also find they may send you surveys on current issues

How do I get paid?

Once you have completed the survey the payment is automatically credited to your account. You can see your current balance by logging in to your account and then clicking on the ‘My Account’ section on the left hand side – this will ten list all the surveys you have filled in along with how much you have been paid or if you have been entered into a prize draw for it. At the bottom it tells you the total amount in your account.

Once you reach $50 YouGov will automatically send you a cheque in payment to your registered postal address. Please make sure that you keep your personal details up to date as if they have the wrong address you will not receive your payment. Once you receive your cheque just pay it into your bank and once it’s cleared the cash is yours.

I have received $250 pay outs during my membership – not bad for a few minutes answering some questions.
